Dwayne Johnson Shares a First Look At Black Adam’s Costume
Ahead of today’s DC FanDome virtual event, Dwayne Johnson debuted a first look at Black Adam‘s costume, which he will wear in the upcoming film (via SuperHeroHype). Johnson also warned that “the hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is about to change.”

Johnson’s not exaggerating. Black Adam’s strength and powers are on par with Superman and Shazam, but without their morality to hold them back.

Black Adam was the wizard Shazam’s champion thousands of years before Billy Batson. However, he fell from the wizard’s favor and was banished for thousands of years. In the comics, Black Adam debuted as a villain. But over time, he became more of a sympathetic antihero. He may eventually face Billy Batson’s Shazam on the big screen. But for now, Black Adam is taking the spotlight.
