The Iowa heavy metal legends Slipknot will always be part of Insane Clown Posse and Juggalo music history. Slipknot setting up a fake beef plot with Insane Clown Posse to simply reach thousands of viewers on Howard Stern in 1999 was such a genius, hilarious plot! But sadly today, an avalanche of sadness and despair has coldly descended upon the rock/metal community across the world. Joey Jordison, (Slipknot/Vimic/Murderdolls) one of the most talented and gifted drummers of all time, has unfortunately passed away last night in his sleep at age 46. We here at Faygoluvers.net send our deepest condolences to his family, friends, all his music allies, and fans. Stay strong and rock out tonight in Joey Jordison’s honor. RIP
P.S. Close to 5 years ago, our staff member Chad Thomas Carsten interviewed the man who was handpicked by Joey Jordison to be the frontman of the Murderdolls. We’re talking about the mighty Wednesday 13. Here is Wednesday 13 sharing touring memories of Joey Jordison with Chad at the Pub Station in Billings, Montana.
Chad T. Carsten: What’s your most cherished memory working with Joey Jordison (Slipknot/Vimic/Murderdolls)?
Wednesday 13: That’s a good question. [Pondered on the question for a few minutes]
There was a ton of cool stuff! We did a lot of stuff in a really short time! I literally went from North Carolina to (seriously) playing in Tokyo, Japan in front of thirty thousand people with Guns N’ Roses in a month. Being able to do that kind of stuff/being on tour with Murderdolls/meeting my hero’s like Alice Cooper and him taking us out on tour; there are so many memories. It was just really cool on how he and I wrote together. When we did the record “Woman and Children Last”, we hadn’t seen each other in almost six years. We went into the studio and I sat right in front of his drum set with my guitar and we tracked everything and talked it out, just guitar and drums. We tracked all eighteen of those songs in a day in a half. It was perfect! No arguments, nothing! We laughed the whole time.
When it comes to music-wise, me and that dude can do amazing things. And it’s not just him; it’s a lot of things that factor into why we haven’t done anything since. It’s just unfortunate when that last Murderdolls record happened, Paul Gray (RIP) died right before it came out and that really changed everything. So had that not happened, things could be different. But it was just a really, really bad time when that happened. The first album when it came out we had all the steam going. We were blowing up in England; it was huge! Then the label wanted more Slipknot, so it was no more, we had to take a break. And when you take a break, people forget. And that’s why we had to start all over again. So it’s just unfortunate that the band had all this steam and it got put on hold.

Shaggy 2 Dope has been quite busy between being one half of the Insane Clown Posse, co host of the weekly PalCast and frequent on Twitch at the ShaggyandCreep… so it’s safe to say he’s been putting in mad work.
This past weekend at the Lethal Weekend 4 in NH (7/17) Shaggy did a solo set, and during the concert he stopped to talk with the juggalos in attendance for a min.
He thanked them for coming out, as well as talked about DJ Clay being on the first FTFO tour, and said he would be on the LAST FTFO show ever then stated that the last FTFO show was “Tonight”
So i guess this means no more solo FTFO shows for the southwest strangla, or could this mean something new is on the horizon for his solo career?
Either way we know ICP will continue doing their works, Yum Yum Bedlam is scheduled for release later this year, as well as the gathering making its return in just under 3 weeks.
Maybe we will get an announcement at the ICP seminar if they have one this year?
Who knows!
Stay tuned to Faygoluvers for more info!

Hot damn, ninjas! Today officially marks the 20th anniversary of the extremely lyrically dark influential LP ‘Tales from the Lotus Pod’. Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and Marz literally scared the underground straight to hell and back on Tuesday, July 17th,2001! And those who attended the 2nd annual Gathering of the Juggalos were able to scare themselves to hell and back, a little earlier. Can you remember where you were precisely when you were first bumping the OG ‘Tales from the Lotus Pod’?! What was going on in your personal life twenty years ago?! Leave your thoughts below! With that being said, Twiztid History and a few of our staff members are sharing their own memories/thoughts in honor of 20 years of Dark Lotus taking over the wicked underground with “Tales from the Lotus Pod”!
Happy #TBT, y’all! We got a big one this week! Today we celebrate the fact that the Dark Lotus – Tales From The Lotus Pod album was released exactly 20 years ago this week at the 2nd annual Gathering of the Juggalos on July 13, 2001.
Tales From The Lotus Pod had first been announced way back in mid to late 1999. During the two years between announcement and release, the group went from featuring only Insane Clown Posse and Twiztid, to adding then subtracting Esham and WCW star Vampiro and eventually including Blaze Ya Dead Homie and Marz. By the time this record actually dropped, it felt like a monumental event in the Juggalo world.
Not only did it feel that way, it WAS a monumental event in the Juggalo world. People were absolutely beside themselves with anticipation for this album, myself included. Tales From The Lotus Pod did not disappoint and became an instant Juggalo classic.
Not only did the album drop that weekend but Dark Lotus, themselves, appeared and performed for the very first time ever. Not only was it the first appearance of Dark Lotus but it would go on to be the ONLY appearance of Dark Lotus with Marz! Marz appeared on the original version of Tales From The Lotus Pod as the 6th member of the Lotus but left the group/was kicked out almost immediately after the record was released, eventually being replaced by ABK for a reissued version in 2002.
Attached are a series of photos from that performance. These photos originally appeared on Twiztid.com shortly after The Gathering, in the summer of 2001.
Rosco:
After The Great Milenko and The Amazing Jeckel Brothers, I didn’t delve too deep into the underground world of Juggalo music. I saw the promo images for Twiztid‘s Mostasteless and they looked sick as fuck but because it wasn’t ICP, I didn’t really check it out. Keep in mind I was only 12 years old at the time and my favorite music to bump was shit like Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, and the Bloodhound Gang.
So although I never gave Twiztid a chance back then, I loved ICP and would check out as much as I could.
It was around that time I saw this image on a message board:
On my next trip to the CD store (yes, they still existed back then) I found it.
It was beautiful.
It was mysterious.
It was black with a shiny red cross on the cover.
It was $34 for some reason.
It was “Tales From The Lotus Pod“!
On the way home, with my Mom driving and me sitting in the back seat with my Discman, I was introduced for the first time to Jamie Madrox, Monoxide Child, and Marz. The introduction talking about the coming of the almighty 6th Joker’s Card gave me mad goosebumps. I immediately fell in love with it. When Ali Baba hit my eardrums I was in shock. I literally couldn’t believe I had been putting off checking out anything in the Juggalo underground besides ICP. They had mad talent on their roster and I was fucking sleeping on it!
Needless to say, the Joker’s Cards made me fall in love with ICP. The Lotus made me fall in love with the family.
The main thing I took away from my experience with Dark Lotus is exactly what they say on the CD. It’s not hidden in the lyrics. It’s right there on the second last track:
Say what you will of me. I’ll always have Juggalo family.
Chad Thomas Carsten:
I honestly first heard “Tales from the Lotus Pod” in the winter of 2007. But holy shit did the album shake my musical soul to its very core! I was only 18 years old living with my Grand Parents at the time in Northern Michigan, right in the woods. I had bumped all of ICP’s Joker’s Cards, Blaze Ya Dead Homies, Twiztid’s releases that were available at the time. I was deeply craving for more wicked underground hip-hop flavor. So I finally decided to bump the original “Tales from the Lotus Pod” during the midnight hours, in a pitch-black room located in the basement of my Grand Parents home, while sporting Dollar Store headphones. I grinned evilly the entire time in complete astonishment towards the lyrically awesome wickedness my eardrums were hearing from Dark Lotus for the very first time. When “Black Crows” hit my dome I started to feel a strange paranormal-like presence near me. Like someone/something was in the room with me as I was laying in bed by myself. It gave me the chills across my body. Oddly enough, shortly after that feeling, the power went out for about 15 minutes or so. And that’s when I decided to get the hell outta the basement and sleep in the living room the rest of the night. I ended up bumping the entirety of “Tales from the Lotus Pod” the next day when the sun was shining, as I was a little shook. *Laughs* Fast forward to the Gathering of the Juggalos2016 at Legend Valley. I was finally able to see Dark Lotus (first and only time) live around the 3/4 a.m. hours, shortly after interviewing Alla Xul Elu. And, wow! My jaw kept dropping in complete bewilderment towards their epic set! The beyond-packed Juggalo crowd roared in positivity the entire set! Definitely in my top 5 live shows. Wish I could travel back in time to that same exact Dark Lotus set. True story!

The Bristol, Connecticut Leathal Wreckords/Weirdo Movement fire spitter, known across the underground as Fury, is currently preparing to release his next full-length LP “Rage Quit”! As well as making final adjustments for the upcoming highly anticipated July music festival “Leathal Weekend 4” and even filming scenes/cameos for various movies. After over fifteen years of conquering production on the mic, Fury looks to be stepping down as an emcee in the next few years. But his upcoming record “Rage Quit” will indeed take the Wicked Underground scene back to his raw grimy roots once it fully drops! Until then, please enjoy this Faygoluvers.net exclusive with Fury himself below!
Chad Thomas Carsten: What does the underground hip-hop scene mean to you on a personal level today?
Fury: It’s my home. It’s not a pretty place or a perfect place but it is the place where I call home. I’ve had the opportunity to experience multiple generations of underground acts in my time here. I watched so many start from zero and become self-sufficient monsters in the scene. So many people like Lo Key, Whitney Peyton, Hopsin, LSP, and the Jokerr, all came from the same time period that I have been grinding in and have become their own success stories. Every state I go to there’s always some friendly familiar face holding it down and showing us around I never feel like a stranger anywhere. I love this scene I wouldn’t have it any other way.
CTC: Can you recall what type of emotions poured through your mind when you first gripped a microphone and knew music was your true calling?
Fury: The first show I ever booked I opened up for Wolfpac in 2002. I lied to the venue saying I was 23. I was like 16 or 17. And that I had done shows in other places. That was my first time performing ever. I knew during the soundcheck that this is what I wanted to do with my life. My father is a legendary guitarist who’s made a living his whole life off of performing music and he’s always been my main influence when it comes to this journey I’m on.
CTC: You’ve been creating your own style of hip-hop for over 15 years! What’s keeps you motivated to keep on striving for success?
Fury: Honestly, I don’t think I’m striving for success anymore with my music. I’ve slowed down on making new songs I’d say around 2012 is when I decided that I wanted to play more of a sidekick/background role as a performer and focused more on the business side of things. I still do make music, but only on rare occasions when I’m absolutely feeling myself or the vibe. I do have a new album about 90% finished. It’s going to be my definitive piece of work for sure.
*Throwback Fury track “Gon Be Aiight” W/ Q-Strange and Menacide*
CTC: You and horrorcore legend Q-Strange have great friendship history within the underground. Are you able to share your own favorite Q-Strange memory from back in the day?
Fury:Q-Strange has always been a legend to me as I grew up in New England when he was really on fire and putting out his classic albums. My first and favorite memory of Q-Strange is him absolutely killing it on stage at Helloween 2003 in Providence, Rhode Island at the living room. And he jumps off stage with a hand full of cassette tapes and clotheslined me like JBL. I’ve had so many memories rolling with Q-Strange and the crew back in the day. I truly love those guys.
CTC: Hypothetically speaking. If you and Q-Strange were to do another track together. What would you want the subject matter to focus on and why?
Fury: We do have a brand new song coming on my album and it focuses on our story of climbing in the underground. It’s a trip down memory lane with a hardcore kick-ass sound that pays homage to our roots.
CTC: Do you feel you’re own music is keeping the spirit of the wicked underground hip-hop scene alive?
Fury: The spirit of the wicked underground is truly all about the people who celebrate it. I don’t look at myself as some pillar here in the scene. It’s really about the people who consume this style of music who buy tickets for the shows, who sport the merch of artists who normal people have no idea of. The people who make memes and spread the word or even roast the artists on statuses, that’s what this scene is all about to me. If you can’t hang with some punches to the face and pride, you won’t last long here.
CTC: Why should underground fans catch a live Fury performance?
Fury: Because I think soon I will be stepping down from being Fury. If you see Fury on a flyer as a performer and not Leathal Wreckords or some incarnation where I’m in a group, it’s probably one of my last solo performances. I always wanted to be a group member in the industry, not a solo artist. I think I’ve got maybe a few solo runs left in me. It all depends on how I feel. I don’t like to push it. I know this question is a tough one.
CTC: You’re of Asian descent. The recent violence against Asian culture across the world because of the bullshit Covid-19 nonsense has to be heart-shattering to you on a personal level. How would you personally go about successfully combatting racism and solving world peace?
Fury: I’ve been dealing with racism my whole life, not just the pandemic. It’s not heart-shattering racism most of the time. It’s usually someone thinking that they’re being funny and they just don’t have their finger on the pulse of what humor is. Other times it’s some confused human being thinking that they are impressing people. I had someone attacking me with public racist comments towards my father and it didn’t go too well for them. My 80 yr old father walks around with pepper spray on him because of all the attacks on Asians reported in the news. All of us humans need to stick together. We need each other. We need to stop hurting each- other. It’s the only way to make things better.
CTC: Currently you’re preparing the next Leathal Weekend that’s going down on Friday, July 16, 2021 through Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the Jewel Music Venue in Manchester, NH! Esham, Shaggy 2 Dope, King Gordy, Ouija Macc, and even Flesh N Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will be performing@ What are you the most excited about in regards to the next upcoming Leathal Weekend event?
Fury: I’m excited because Jewel Nightclub has announced that we are going back to full capacity! It’s been a long time since New England had had a Juggalo concert and here we are just a few weeks away from changing that! I will be announcing more special guests this week! My favorite part of this event is seeing all the connections that are made after when the shows done and all the fans and artists are now acquainted and supporting each other on social media from then on. We are helping to create a positive community in the underground.
*Fury on set filming a scene from the upcoming film “Tales from the Dead Zone”*
CTC: You’ve had cameo appearances within the films Ghostbusters (2016) and The Purge. Your next role will be inside the upcoming film “Tales from the Dead Zone” with 1980’s film icon Corey Feldman and wrestling Superstar, Bret Hart. How did this role challenge you artistically differently than past films?
Fury: This was my first speaking role. In my other film appearances, I was only a background actor. When I got the script it said “a large muscular man walks into a room” I was like “uhhhhh, who’s that supposed to be about” because I was in the worst shape of my life. It encouraged me to use the time I had before filming to get my life back and start getting in shape. So on top of the acting and the script I was trying to take better care of myself. Once I was on the set for a full day I felt more comfortable about my performance. I think that acting is something I will try to do more in the near future. I’ve already got another film where I’m a major character on the way to another horror movie. Did you know that 33.3% of the movies I’ve done are with Bill Murray?
*Fury with 50 Cent after performing*
Your next LP will be “Rage Quit”! So far, how satisfied are you with the creative process behind “Rage Quit“?
Fury: My producer VSPR is the most talented musician I’ve ever worked with. He’s the producer of all the songs on this project and he’s on the majority of the songs as well doing hooks and other vocals. Working with him to make sense of my life has been so therapeutic for me. “Rage Quit” is a window into my true soul everything in there came from my heart there’s not one song on here that I made without purpose there’s no filler there’s no filter. I’m defining who Fury is on this project. I’m opening up to subjects I’ve never spoken about and I’m leaving it all in the ring. Whether its blood, sweat, or tears, it’s all there. We recorded in LA, we recorded in my house, we recorded in hotel rooms. We went all out for this album and I am 100% confident that it is my best work. It is my life’s work.
CTC: Is there a hidden deeper metaphor for the title of “Rage Quit” beyond just gaming?
Fury: Rage quitting is when you’ve had enough of being defeated in a video game and you just shut the system off or uninstall the game.. or throw your controller out the window. Rage quit as in The rage that I use/have to do Fury I want to step away from that piece of my life and grow to be the Jason Flores that I will be for the rest of my life. Rage quit as in quitting the game that is destroying me . There’s a lot of demons I am in a royal rumble with and I try to put them to rest with the expressions on this project.
CTC:Do you feel “Rage Quit” will be your most personal record to date? How so?
Fury: Yes it’s going to try to explain why I am this way. It’s gonna touch on how I became who I am what I’m facing and where I’m going with no holds barred.
*Fury with Shaggy 2 Dope, King Gordy, and another homie*
CTC: Shaggy 2 dope, D-12, Riff Raff, Bizzy Bone (Bone Thugs-N-Harmony), and even Journey’s very own Frontman Arnel Pineda, will all be featured on “Rage Quit”. How have all these talented artists influenced your own career? And can you give our readers a brief lyrical breakdown of each track these amazing artists will be featured on?
Fury: Without giving away too many surprises I will say these things about these songs. Shaggy 2 dope and I did a classic that will definitely be heard by OG Juggalos as paying homage to that epic old-school Insane Clown Posse sound. This was legit the moment where I had realized I set out everything I ever wanted to do as a young person and had accomplished it. Such a major moment for me. And I have to thank my brother Tre Lb for hooking that up for me and consigning me to make that happen. D-12 I bring it back to that devil’s night sound that drove us to riot as kids. This is the title track for the album and my verse is really really heavy on this one. I’m not sure how people will take this. I’m not even sure how I take it. We will see soon. Now Riff is my dude and turned it up all the way for Leathal Weekend 3 and Leathal New Year’s for us. I had to get him on this album as he’s become one of my biggest influences with the way he just carries himself and how his music is just so damn on point with what he represents. We got a video coming for this song 100%! Bizzy Bone has been my guy since 2005. We go way back to when I was a young kid traveling the country, trying to make a name for myself in different states. He’s my favorite rapper of all time and has always been a major influence to me. This song touches on the story of me trying to make it from nothing. It’s got that melodic Bizzy Bone that people love that bone bone bone sound!
Arnel Pineda is my father’s favorite musician. He’s the pride of the Philippines. He’s one of the greatest rags to riches stories on earth. I never thought that I could make this happen but I went for it and I made it happen… my dad is so proud of this song and so am I. This song is the greatest father and son moment I’ve had in my life with my dad. I am more proud of this song than anything else I’ve ever done. My father plays a killer guitar solo on a song with his hero and I get to be on a song with my hero. I love this song more than life itself and I can’t wait for people to hear it. Thank you Arnel for blessing me and my family with this I am forever in debt to you sir. I WILL RIDE FOR JOURNEY! I WILL PULL UP ON YOU OVER THIS JOURNEY SHIT!!!!! DON’T TEST ME!
CTC:When can fans expect a full-on music video from “Rage Quit’? Any sneak peek details you’d like to share?
Fury: The first single is gonna come out soon I’m just re-organizing myself to come back out as a real rapper and dedicate myself to pushing these songs to their max. We have a video ready to go just getting everything ready.
CTC: What do you hope to accomplish with your own label Leathal Wreckords in the next five years or so?
Fury:Leathal will continue to throw amazing concerts with top-tier underground acts and will continue to help other artists find their platform and will continue to develop artists just stepping into the game. I plan on expanding and finding new artists across the country to call LEATHAL. Thank you, Chad for this interview brother! And shout out to Scottie D! My brother from another mother since basement tracks muthafacko!!!!

Some homies of ours put together a fantastic idea for us to show love back to the Wicked Clowns. They’ve dedicated 30 years of their lives to Juggalos and Juggalettes. Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope have no doubt reaped the benefits of our support, but how much flavor have they brought to our lives? Whether just in the form of some of the freshest concerts you’ll ever experience, being a soundtrack to your life, or being the reason that you met some of your best friends, significant others, etc…they may not know how much the subculture they created truly means to us!
So this is your chance! What you need to do is create a 15-20 second clip of you showing love to the Insane Clown Posse and submit it to juggalolovechallenge@gmail.com!
Just keep it short and sweet, because longer clips will be cut down.
You have until August 1st to get your clips submitted, but don’t sleep on doing this! Check the full-sized flyer below for all the details!

Happy Juneteenth everyone! Today marks the 20th anniversary of Esham’s influential underground 2001 “Acid Rap” classic “Tongues”! “Tongues“ properly showcases why Esham is the Godfather of the Wicket Shit. And it’s due to his venomous witty experimental quickness flow approach inside the LP that is bound to keep your head bobbing until your very own neck breaks! Esham’s addictive collabo tracks “Devilshit” and “All Night Everyday” (FT. Heather Hunter) withKool Keith should’ve lead to a full on collaboration record between the two wild microphone legends. While the brutal disses against Eminem (“Chemical Imbalance,” “Gloczup“, “Mr. Negativity”, etc) led to NATAS and D-12 fully brawling at Warped Tour during the Summer of 2001. Both of the super important Detroit groups were kicked off Warped Tour too! Detroit hip-hop history 101!
Now here is a guest write-up from Reel Life Productions alumni, Daniel Jordan, on how the June 2001 era of Esham’s “Tongues” impacted his life!
From Daniel Jordan personally:
“It was the summer of 2001, my junior year of high school had just wrapped up and I had just gotten my first car, a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse (like in the Fast and the Furious). Two albums came out that month that were the soundtrack to my whole summer. The first one came out around my birthday June 4 and it was “Spankmaster” by Kool Keith. Being a fan of Keith and Esham separately my wig was blown to know that Keith signed with Gothom/Overcore AKA Reel Life Productions. You see, I’m from the Bay Area and I come from the Murder Dog era. Murder Dog was a publication in Vallejo California, it had its finger on the pulse of everything in the underground. Being a subscriber I was quite familiar with many independent artists throughout the Midwest and the East Coast. I always had a special place in my heart for the underdogs: The true masters of their craft that never got recognized on a mainstream level. Keith and Esham were two artists I always went to bat for. I would try to put my friends on to their music and only the cool ones got it. The kids who didn’t understand, I didn’t want to be friends with anymore, I could see we didn’t have much in common. “Spankmaster” set up a number of collaborations with Keith and Esham that foreshadowed what was to come with “Tongues” that was about to arrive just a few weeks later. You have to understand, this just a few short months away from 9/11, life as we know it forever would change, these were the last remaining days of a pre-9/11 world. Music was intense, we were at the precipice of a youth movement. World Wrestling Federation was hard-core, shock value in music was at an all-time high. Times were good. The day “Tongues” came out I couldn’t wait to get to Wherehouse Records to get a copy, and guess what, it wasn’t there. I had to go to a few other stores and finally track it down. But once I did and put that motherfucker in it I hear the flamenco style guitar open up “Walking on the Flatline”. The production on the album was in the same vein of “WWW.COM” by NATAS.
“I appreciated the production on those two albums so much I went and tracked down the drum machine that was used for it. The Roland MC505 (which I still own to this day, it’s in my closet collecting dust because the shit sounds so dated. But that thing was a beast in it’s time, you have no idea). I spent the whole summer listening to this album, experimenting with psychedelic drugs and fooling around with chicks. I was coming of age around this time. Whenever I go back to this album it brings me back to that time when life was simple, cruising around town in my whip, doing drugs and getting laid. What else could you ask for? That same summer Keith and Esham were on tour and I was able to see them in San Francisco at Maritime Hall. I went with this hot chick I worked with, she was in her mid-20s (and I got her to flash the crowd, that was pretty sweet). That chick was the bomb, she would buy me booze and drive around town with me, I was barely 17 years old, she could go to jail for some of the shit we did together but I digress. She’s basically a Juggalette, even though she never even listened to Insane Clown Posse. Chicks like that are cool as fuck, just down. I wish I could find a chick like that these days… Anyways, dope album.”
Where were you when “Tongues” first dropped? What are your favorite songs on this album? Post your thoughts below!

Here’s a piece of freshness I randomly came across. Pitchfork.com published an article recently giving a brief history of musicians in wrestling. Now, being juggalos, we know that you can’t have a conversation about musicians in wrestling without bringing the wicked clowns into the discussion!
Here is what Pitchfork had to say about Insane Clown Posse…
No rappers are more devoted to pro wrestling than the immortal jokers of Insane Clown Posse. The group started in low-budget backyard matches as teens before brief stints in ECW, WCW, and even WWE, where they performed for a few months in-ring and recorded theme music for the freakshow-themed stable The Oddities. After parting ways with the big leagues, ICP formed their indie promotion, Juggalo Championship Wrestling, known initially as Juggalo Championshit Wrestling. Though they’ve long been a musical punchline, ICP is taken relatively seriously in the world of indie wrestling. JCP has a crass sense of humor: Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope once went up against a tag team named “Kid Cock” and “Feminem.” But it’s become respected both as an incubator for new talent and a reliable employer of veterans like Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes, and Jake “The Snake” Roberts at the Gathering of the Juggalos’ annual “BloodyMania.”

On last night’s Jam Exam podcast on the ICP Patreon, Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, and Jumpsteady all discussed the Forgotten Freshness series of releases. They talked about all of the tracks that they absolutely loved, why they didn’t make it onto Joker’s Cards, and how the songs came to be. It was interesting, as always, and you should definitely peep it if you missed it last night.
At the very end of the episode, Violent J announced a new project that he has been working on. It’s called “Walking Home”, and will be a series of FIVE singles that will be released 4 months apart from each other.
The theme of the singles is that J is a ninja working a regular job, and after he clocks out for the day, he encounters something different on his walks home. The tracks will be titled “Walking Home – Monday”, “Walking Home – Tuesday”, etc all the way through Friday.
Each single will cost $117.00, but don’t think you’re just getting a CD. He says it’ll include the following:
A bag/box/tote/drawstring bag/backpack of sorts for each single
Autographed CD including the single “Walking Home”, the instrumental, the acapella, and a remix
Comic book that illustrates the story
Something different and unique that pertains to the story
1st will be a map of “Soufwest Detroite” so you can follow J along his journey
After all 5 days have been released, a final “Weekend edition” will be released that contains a CD with all 5 days, the graphic novel with ALL of the comic books combined, and an exclusive Weekend single track.
This sounds interesting as fuck, and being from one of the best storytellers in the rap game, it’s gotta be dope! Hopefully we’ll hear more about this project soon!
In the meantime, make sure you’re subscribed to the ICP Patreon so you can hear news like this as soon as it drops!

There was a short article published today in the Detroit News about the recently announced Gathering of the Juggalos! It doesn’t give us any further details than what we already know, but is pretty fresh that they (Adam Graham in particular) always show love to the Wicked Clowns!
It rehashes the dates, the lapse of a year due to Covid, and the return to Legend Valley.
Since the article is so short, we decided to repost it here. Check the details out below.
ICP promises ‘new beginning’ as Gathering of the Juggalos sets return
Insane Clown Posse announces Aug. 19-21 return of its annual festival, now in its 21st year, after 2020’s event was canceled due to COVID-19.
Juggalos, rejoice: the Gathering is back.
Insane Clown Posse will host its 21st Gathering of the Juggalos festival Aug. 19-21 in Thornville, Ohio, the group announced on its social media channels Sunday.
“Know this, straight from the depths of our souls: This will be a Gathering for the True Juggalos. The chosen. The Family!” read a post on the group’s Instagram page, which promised “a new fire, a new moment in Juggalo history,” as “the time has come for a new beginning.”
Lineup specifics and ticket information will follow at a later date.
Insane Clown Posse — Detroit duo Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope — were forced to cancel last year’s Gathering of the Juggalos as COVID-19 shut down the live music world. The event was set to be held in Garrettsville, Ohio, about 45 miles southeast of Cleveland, which hosted the celebration of all things ICP from 2003-05.
Thornville — which is located in central Ohio, about 40 minutes east of Columbus — played host to four previous Gatherings, from 2014-2016 and in 2018.
The very first Gathering of the Juggalos was held at the Novi Expo Center in July, 2000. It was the first and last time — to date, at least — that the event would be held in Metro Detroit.
ICP has been celebrating its 30th anniversary throughout 2021 with a series of social media posts honoring the group’s grease paint- and Faygo-soaked history.
The group’s latest album, “Yum Yum Bedlam,” is due out this year.
