Crunchyroll Loves rolls out Junji Ito street wear collection

Anime Horror fans, if you’ve ever felt that you’ve gone unnoticed, Crunchyroll has you covered with their latest roll-out of “Crunchyroll Loves,” its in-house streetwear brand. Digging deep into their capsule collection, Crunchyroll Loves celebrates everything horror with exclusive artwork from legendary horror artist Junji Ito.

Rolling out today, this collection will only be available exclusively on the Crunchyroll Store, and once it’s sold out, it will not be restocked. This latest collection is a continuation of Crunchyroll’s partnership with the Junji Ito line, which debuted at this year’s Crunchyroll Expo. The artwork that was featured on the apparel available at Crunchyroll Expo, was made specifically for Crunchyroll, and this latest capsule collection will be built upon those initial designs.

“Junji Ito creates devastatingly beautiful horror manga. Our goal was to translate his art into wearable, streetwear pieces that are accessible to all his fans. Ito-sensei is really happy with the execution, so I’m excited to see the reception from customers!” said Kristin Parcell, Director of Commerce at Crunchyroll.

The Junji Ito capsule will be a five-piece collection that will include one hoodie, two long-sleeve shirts, one t-shirt, and one jean jacket. Staying true to horror form, each piece will be drenched in black, with each one featuring some of Junji Ito’s prized artwork. Fans who have followed Junji Ito will recognize some of his most iconic creations, as they’re whisked away from the manga pages and onto this line of street apparel.

The Junji Ito collection continues Crunchyroll Loves ongoing dedication, to provide anime enthusiasts with a line of apparel that gives them a chance to express their love for the genre. Previous Crunchyroll Loves collections have included designs commemorating “Konosuba,” “Re:Zero,” “DARLING in the FRANXX,” “Mob Psycho 100,” “Bananya,” “RWBY,” and others.

The Crunchyroll Loves Junji Ito capsule collection is available now, while supplies last and can be purchased directly at the Crunchyroll Store.
