AMC

The Walking Dead, Season 10 Premiere: The new season takes place a few months following the end of Season 9 when our group of survivors dared to cross into Whisperer territory during the harsh winter. The collected communities are still dealing with the after-effects of Alpha’s horrific display of power, reluctantly respecting the new borderlines being imposed on them, all the while organizing themselves into a militia-style fighting force, preparing for an unavoidable battle. A threat unlike any other and backed by a massive horde of the dead, the Whisperers will encourage a rise of fear, paranoia, propaganda, and secret agendas as the very idea of civilization hangs in the balance. Season 10 will be available to stream on AMC and Amazon Prime after the premiere on Sunday, October 6.

Peaky Blinders, Series 5 Premiere: Set in the lawless streets of Birmingham, the series tracks the evolution of leader Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) from backstreet crime lord to legitimate businessman and member of parliament. This new season finds the world thrown into turmoil by the financial crash of 1929. When Tommy is approached by a charismatic politician with a bold vision for Britain, he realizes that his response will impact not only the future of his family but that of the entire nation. As the Shelbys grapple with the 1929 stock market crash, Tommy confronts new threats to his power from younger family members and fascist rivals. The fifth season will premiere on Friday, October 4.

Raising Dion, Series Premiere: Starring Michael B. Jordan, Ja’Siah Young, and Alisha Wainwright, the new superhero family drama follows the story of a woman named Nicole Reese, who raises her son Dion after the death of her husband Mark. The normal dramas of raising a son as a single mom are amplified when Dion starts to manifest several magical, superhero-like abilities. Nicole must now keep her son’s gifts secret with the help of Mark’s best friend Pat, and protect Dion from antagonists out to exploit him while figuring out the origin of his abilities. The series will begin streaming on Friday, October 4.

Big Mouth, Season 3 Premiere: Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg’s half-hour edgy adult animated comedy about the glorious nightmare that is teenage puberty returns as the new season teases another chapter of body changes, new feelings, a lot of touching, and guest appearances from the Queer Eye group. Season 3 premieres on Friday, October 4.

Light as a Feather, Season 2B Premiere: The final eight episodes of the second season will feature the main characters, led by Liana Liberato, trying to escape the game’s curse. Having inherited the curse brought on by the lethal game of “Light As a Feather,” McKenna finds herself fighting against a ticking clock compelling her to play along. You can watch the new episodes when they begin streaming on Friday, October 4.

Amazon Prime Video

Goliath, Season 3 Premiere: In Season 3 of the hit legal drama, the unexpected death of an old friend leads Billy McBride (Billy Bob Thornton) to take a case in the drought-stricken Central Valley where he comes face-to-face with a new Goliath: a billionaire rancher (Dennis Quaid) and his sister (Amy Brenneman). As Billy and his team pursue the truth, old enemies and personal demons resurface, forcing him to confront his own mortality. The new season will premiere on Friday, October 4.

The CW

Batwoman, Series Premiere: The newest addition to The CW’s Arrowverse stars Ruby Rose as the titular character Batwoman, aka Kate Kane. In order to help her family and the city of Gotham, Kate will have to become the one thing her father loathes — a dark knight vigilante. With the help of her compassionate stepsister Mary and the crafty Luke Fox, Kate continues the legacy of her missing cousin Bruce Wayne as Batwoman. In a city desperate for a savior, she must first overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope. The new superhero series will premiere on Sunday, October 6 with new episodes available to stream on The CW app.

USA Network

Mr. Robot, Season 4 Premiere: Set during the Christmas of 2015, the fourth and final season of Esmail’s thriller sees Elliot (Rami Malek) and his violent alter ego Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) embarking on a path to target the top one percent of the top one percent — and their pursuit puts them directly on the radar of dangerous entities like Whiterose (BD Wong) and the Dark Army, ruthless businessman Phillip Price (Michael Cristofer) and the full apparatus of E Corp, and other unknown forces of terror. Whatever dangers lie ahead, it’s enough to cause even the Robot side of Elliot’s personality to sound the alarms. The final season will stream on USA Network and Amazon Prime following the premiere on Sunday, October 6.

Renewals

Stranger Things, Season 4: Netflix has officially confirmed that Stranger Things has been renewed for a fourth season!. The announcement came along with a tease that “We’re not in Hawkins anymore.” The Season 3 finale for the series set-up a new era for the series as much of its cast was preparing to depart the Indiana town, though some certainly remained. Created by Matt and Sean Duffer, the first three seasons of the series are available to stream on Netflix.
