Chernobyl’s Adam Nagaitis Signs On For Gunpowder Milkshake
The upcoming all-star female ensemble action thriller Gunpowder Milkshake, already featuring a cast led by Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Karen Gillan and Game of Thrones‘ Lena Headey, has expanded its roster with addition of The Terror and Chernobyl star Adam Nagaitis, according to Variety.

Details of the actual plot aren’t known just yet, but Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill and Edgar Wright’s Baby Driver are considered the film’s “touchstones,” which will mix stylized action with violence. The script is being described as following Headey and Gillan’s mother-daughter assassin duo. Yeoh will be part of a secret sisterhood of arms dealers who assist the two when things go south.
In addition to Gillan and Headey, the cast will also feature Michelle Yeoh (Crazy Rich Asians), Carla Gugino (The Haunting of Hill House), Oscar and Emmy-nominee Angela Bassett (Black Panther, American Horror Story), and Golden Globe and Emmy winner Paul Giamatti (Billions).
The film will be directed by Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado, who also helmed the 2014 Israeli hit film Big Bad Wolves. The two also wrote the screenplay along with Ehud Lavski. Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman of The Picture Company will produce as part of their overall deal with Studiocanal.

Gugino recently starred in the acclaimed Netflix horror-drama The Haunting of Hill House, and has starred in such high-profile films as Watchmen, San Andreas, and Sin City.
Gunpowder Milkshake is currently in production in Berlin.
