Those Who Wish Me Dead: Angelina Jolie thriller backed by New Line
Angelina Jolie’s (By the Sea) thriller Those Who Wish Me Dead has landed at New Line, TheWrap has confirmed. The production company will team-up with BRON Studios on the project that is written and directed by Taylor Sheridan (Wind River).

The story, based on a book of the same name by Michael Koryta, follows a teen in a witness protection program evading killers in the fire-raged wilderness of Montana. The film will reportedly “veer away from certain points,” rather than act as a straight-up adaptation; and act as more of a female-driven “by-the-seat-of-your-pants chase movie.”
“Taylor Sheridan is an exceptional filmmaker and we are thrilled to be partnering with him, Angelina Jolie, BRON and the entire filmmaking team on this exciting project,” New Line’s president and chief content officer Carolyn Blackwood and president and chief creative officer Richard Brener said.
“We are thrilled to be working with Taylor Sheridan, Angelina Jolie and all the wonderful talent in front and behind the camera. We are also excited for another collaboration with the New Line Cinema team,” BRON’s Aaron L. Gilbert added.
The cast also includes Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road), Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), Tyler Perry (Gone Girl), Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones), Medina Senghore (Blindspot), Finn Little (Storm Boy), and Jake Weber (Homeland).

Gilbert, Kevin Turen (All is Lost), and Jason Cloth (The Mule, Fences) for Creative Wealth Media. Executive producers include Kathryn Dean and Michael Friedman (Yellowstone).
