Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 14 Recap

Neron takes Constantine on a trip in Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 14. The two teleport to Donner Pass during the Ice Age. Neron needs Constantine to open and stabilize a portal to Hell so that Neron can summon his lover, Tabitha. Constantine refuses to use his magic until Neron starts to cut Ray’s throat, which goads Constantine into turning the blade into a feather. The Waverider locks onto Constantine’s position based on his magical signature. Facing down the demon and his captive, Mick gives Gideon the order to fire on Neron and Constantine, triggering an avalanche that buries the Waverider.

The Waverider

Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 14 Recap

Sara and Mick argue over Mick giving the order to fire on Neron. Sara blames Mick and Charlie for losing Ray, since they were off running a scam at RomantiCon in the previous episode when Ray was taken. Mick growls back that it seems like Sara’s the only one who is allowed to have fun off the ship. Charlie brings the two together to find what Ray would do in such a situation. They find Ray’s emergency guide, but have already tried everything listed, leaving only enjoying their final moments together.

Sara tells Gideon to restore power to the ship, even though it cuts their remaining life support reserves in half. The Legends play Ray’s homebrewed card game about saving the timeline while enjoying light, heat, and cocoa. Turning the power back on has the effect of warming the ship enough to make escape from the ice possible.

Nipnotized

Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 14 Recap

At the Time Bureau, a nipnotized Ava puts Gary in charge of Time Bureau employee reviews. Gary calls agents into Ava’s office one at a time and puts them under his spell with his demonic nipple. Mona is the last agent left, but she’s not alone, as her kaupe alter-ego reminds her. When Gary attempts to get Mona to gaze into his nipple, Mona transforms and overcomes him. Gary calls Ava and Nora for help, but Mona is too much for them. She knocks their heads together, breaking Gary’s spell over them.

Straight to Hell

Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 14 Recap

Escaping the Ice Age right before the Waverider fires upon them, Neron takes Constantine to Stonehenge in 55 B.C. There, Constantine comes face to face with his ancestor who began the family’s magical bloodline by preying on the fears of his subjects. The king captures and prepares to send an innocent puca to Hell. Neron explains to Constantine that not everyone in Hell deserves to be there, like Tabitha. Constantine tries to convince the king to release the puca, but is captured and will be sent to Hell along with the puca.

The king summons a vortex to Hell, dragging Constantine and the puca toward it. Constantine, however, is stronger than the king, using his magic to stabilize the portal and defeating the king in combat. Neron battles Constantine next, falling to Constantine’s blade. The Waverider arrives as Constantine is about to send Neron back to Hell. Sara and Mick tell Constantine not to give up on Ray. Facing his greatest fear, Constantine takes the portal to Hell himself in order to find and save Ray. With Constantine gone, Neron summons Tabitha, the fairy godmother. The two rescue Gary from the Time Bureau and teleport away.
