Fleabag Season 2 Trailer: The Amazon series returns in May
Amazon Prime has released the official trailer for the second season of award-winning comedy-drama Fleabag. The series is scheduled to return next month on May 17, exclusively on Prime Video. Starring Emmy nominee Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Killing Eve), you can check out the video in the player below.

Created and written by Waller-Bridge, Fleabag is a hilarious and poignant window into the mind of a dry-witted, sexual, angry, grief-riddled woman (Waller-Bridge), as she hurls herself at modern living in London. The show is based on Waller-Bridge’s play “Fleabag,” which won an Edinburgh Fringe First Award, the Critics’ Circle and Off-West End Awards for Most Promising Playwright and a Special Commendation from the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize.
In season 2, Waller-Bridge’s eponymous character goes toe to toe with the man upstairs and meets a Priest, played by Sherlock’s Andrew Scott, who jolts her into seeing the world in a different way. Fleabag’s family is also as dysfunctional as ever: her uptight sister Claire, played by Sian Clifford, hasn’t forgiven her, and Claire’s obnoxious alcoholic husband is still on the scene, while the pair are presenting a united front as they come to term with their father’s relationship with their godmother, played by Olivia Colman.
Academy Award-nominated actress Kristin Scott Thomas (The English Patient) and Fiona Shaw (Harry Potter Film Series) have also been cast for guest-starring roles in season two.

The series also stars Brett Gelman (American Dad!, Twin Peaks), Olivia Colman (Broadchurch, The Night Manager), Bill Paterson (The Rebel, Outlander), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Hugh Skinner (Harlots, Poldark), Jamie Demetriou (Paddington 2, People Time), Jenny Rainsford (The Favourite, The Smoke), and Sian Clifford (Fry-Up, Paddy).
A Two Brothers Pictures production in association with DryWrite, Fleabag was directed by Harry Bradbeer (Killing Eve, Dickensian), and executive produced by Harry Williams and Jack Williams (Rellik, The Missing) of Two Brothers Pictures, Lydia Hampson (The Art of Foley) and Waller-Bridge, and distributed by all3media International.
