Exclusive Destroyer Make-Up Clip Shows Kidman’s Transformation
Annapurna Pictures has provided ComingSoon.net with an exclusive clip showing the make-up transformation Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman went through for the crime drama Destroyer. Destroyer follows the moral and existential odyssey of LAPD Detective Bell who, as a young cop, was placed undercover with a gang in the California desert with tragic results. When the leader of that gang re-emerges many years later, she must work her way back through the remaining members and into her own history with them to finally reckon with the demons that destroyed her past.
The film features an ensemble cast that includes Kidman, who just came off an Emmy win for her acting and producing on the HBO hit Big Little Lies, Bradley Whitford (Get Out), Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), Sebastian Stan (Avengers: Infinity War), Toby Kebbell (War for the Planet of the Apes), Scoot McNairy (Halt and Catch Fire) and Beau Knapp (The Nice Guys).
Destroyer is directed by Karyn Kusama, whose previous works include Jennifer’s Body, The Invitation and a segment on the 2017 horror anthology XX. The screenplay is by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi (Ride Along, The Invitation).
