Deadly Class Season 1 Episode 9 Recap
In the previous episode of Deadly Class, King’s Dominion learned the truth behind Chico and Yukio’s murders and Saya and Maria grew closer as friends. What does this next installment have in store? Let’s find out as we recap Deadly Class season 1 episode 9 ‘Kids of the Black Hole’!
Spying Time
Chester had started a bluegrass band with the rednecks he had taken up residence with. They were practicing a song and surprisingly sounded good. Saya had found the house where Chester was hiding and was taking pictures for reconnaissance. At King’s Dominion, Master Lin taught his class that falling in love with someone was inadvisable for a professional assassin, as a loved one could be used against them. Marcus confronted Master Lin and accused him of being prejudiced against the younger generation. Master Lin pointed out that no generation of humans had ever managed to meaningfully change the world for the better. After school, the kids who had gone to Vegas met and reviewed the information about Chester. Marcus proposed that they kill Chester, but Willie refused to go along with it.
An Explosive Concert
Marcus went to Lex to ask him to get some C4 explosives and Lex agreed to procure some. Master Lin went back to his home and told his wife that Master Gao had learned of his daughter’s existence. Lin was concerned that Gao would tell the leadership of the Guild about his daughter, and then Lin would be relieved of his duties at King’s Dominion. Saya found Willie and tried to convince him to help the kids kill Chester, but Willie still refused. Marcus left Saya to finish up the preparations while he spent the night with Maria. Marcus abandoned Maria and the group went to an Adolescents concert to pick up the explosives. After the concert, Marcus explained his new-found love for participating in mosh-pits to Saya. They began passionately kissing in an alleyway.
Assault
The next morning, Marcus sprinted to the comic shop and found the explosives Lex had stored there. Later, Master Lin was taken to meet with Master Gao. Gao had Brandi and Victor holding sickles and Gao ordered them to kill Master Lin. After Brandi and Victor betrayed Gao and tried to kill her, Gao fled and the remaining trio had to fight off the assembled servants of Master Gao. They easily did so, but Master Lin left Brandi and Victor to think about their actions by themselves. Meanwhile, everyone arrived at Chester’s hideout and prepared for their assault on the house. After fleeing from King’s Dominion, Master Lin went home and found that El Diablo had taken his wife and daughter hostage. After a distraction was provided by Master Lin, he and his wife fought off most of their captors; in the struggle Lin’s wife was killed, but Lin managed to escape with his daughter.
