Take It Back

The Punisher Season 2 Episode 7

Billy and Dumont have taken their relationship to a place of painful-pleasurable sex. Both are broken people, physically and emotionally. When Billy dresses to go out, Dumont pleads with him not to. Billy says that he’s thinking more clearly now and that the reason he was so anxious in the hospital is because he was locked in a room with no way out. He’s not sure what’s worse, having lost everything that he had built for himself or not being able to remember ever having it in the first place. Now, Billy wants to take a piece of it back.

Billy drills his crew, going through the scenario for the next day. They practice together so that each member of the crew knows where each other is and what each will be doing at all times. Jake is in withdrawal and wants to go back home to get fixed, but Billy says that they sleep in the warehouse together. They need to stay together until after the job is done. In the night, Jake sneaks out.

The Only Guy Worse

The Punisher Season 2 Episode 7

Frank still encounters resistance from Madani when he says that the only way to end this is to kill Billy. Curtis agrees with Frank. The two stake out near Jake’s apartment, knowing that he’s been meeting with Billy. They take Jake off the street the next morning and take him back to Jake’s apartment, where Frank beats Jake for answers about where Billy’s hiding. Frank stabs Jake’s hand to the table, causing Madani to pull Frank off of Jake. While the two argue over Frank’s methods, Curtis tells Jake that Frank and Billy were like brothers. Billy killed Frank’s family and Frank messed up Billy’s face. Curt got shot, and all he did was stand next to them… what does Jake think that Billy will do with him once he finds out that Frank has him? What does he think Frank will do if Jake doesn’t talk? Jake reconsiders and gives Frank the address of the warehouse where Billy and his crew have been hiding out. Frank and Curtis go to catch Billy, but arrive as the crew is leaving for their hit.

Shootout

The Punisher Season 2 Episode 7

Billy and his team rob a check cashing place right after an armored car makes it’s deposit. The manager doesn’t cooperate, but one of the workers opens the door to let the crew back to the cash. Billy’s team takes the employee hostage. Frank, dressed in Jake’s jacket and mask calls out to Billy. When Billy turns, identifying himself, Frank drops the disguise. There’s a shoutout in the street between Frank and Billy’s crew. Billy is too stunned to move. Frank is wearing the vest with the skull. Eventually, Billy’s guys grab him and they speed away with Frank in pursuit.
