A New Directive

The Passage Season 1 Episode 7

Brad and Lila were tied up and held hostage in the trunk of a moving vehicle. Brad began to search for a way out of the trunk. At Project Noah, the Secretary of Defense asked Sykes and Horace how to continue the project. Sykes advocated for shutting it down, but Horace told the Secretary about the potential of the project. Horace was granted full control of the project to assess which doctors needed to be replaced. Sykes explained to Richards what had transpired in the meeting and Richards told her about Brad’s absence. Richards went to ask Amy for help with locating Brad. Back in the trunk, Brad and Lila both freed themselves and began to plan how to escape from their current situation.

Elsewhere in the Project Noah building, Jonas continued to care for the ailing Elizabeth. He went to visit with Sykes and proposed a new method of attacking Tim’s virus with Amy’s. Sykes found that her security clearance had been revoked by Horace, but Jonas’ had not. Jonas proposed attacking all of Tim’s cells at once, so that they couldn’t heal one another. Elsewhere, Anthony telepathically showed Amy where her lost book was located and Amy vowed to get it back at some point in the future. Anthony warned Amy about the evil that Tim would bring in the future. Amy told Anthony about how she felt she was to blame for her mother’s death. Horace came to visit Amy and told her that Brad had abandoned her, but Amy did not believe him. With Brad, the car stopped and Brad was released from the trunk. He quickly killed his captors.

Richards tracked down the vehicle and found the remnants of Brad’s escape. Brad and Lila continued their trek to the nearest gas station. Back at Noah, Anthony visited with Amy, and warned her about Tim again. Jonas pleaded with Sykes to give Elizabeth the most aggressive treatment possible. Tim telepathically talked with Elizabeth, and convinced her to give in to his influence. During their journey, Brad and Lila talked about how their daughter was murdered and how Brad was trying to make up for it through Amy. The pair also discussed how they both felt they were responsible for their daughter’s death. A man caught up with them and ordered them to drop their weapons. Richards came to their rescue and killed the other man. Richards told them that Horace was behind the kidnapping and agreed to help Brad get Amy away from Project Noah. Back at Noah, Elizabeth died in the comforting arms of Jonas, and refused to join the ranks of Tim’s vampire acolytes.
