Chronicle Collectibles releases Hellboy right hand of doom
There are so many things to like about the character Hellboy. His snarky demeanor, the fact he fights Nazis, and his literal ‘devil-may-care’ outlook. But his indestructible Right Hand of Doom might be the coolest of all, and now to celebrate the launch of an all-new Hellboy movie, Chronicle Collectibles has released a prop replica of the demon’s forearm.
According to /Film, the collectible is priced at $399.99, and made from the same material used in the new film. It’s designed to mount on a special display base, or worn around for formal and informal occasions. It’s also two feet tall and about nine inches wide, so you’ll want to plan the rest of your outfit accordingly.
For this new iteration of Hellboy, Stranger Things actor David Harbour will take on the mantle of the title character, and will be joined by Ian McShane (Deadwood, American Gods) who plays Hellboy’s adoptive father, Professor Trevor Bruttenholm (aka Professor Broom), Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element, Resident Evil franchise) as villain Nimue aka the Blood Queen, Sasha Lane (American Honey) will play Alice Monaghan, Penelope Mitchell (Hemlock Grove) will play the elder witch Ganeida, and Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-0, LOST) is playing Major Ben Daimio.
Neil Marshall (The Descent, Game of Thrones) will direct from a script by Andrew Cosby (Eureka), Christopher Golden and the character’s creator, Mike Mignola. Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin will produce with Mike Richardson of Dark Horse Entertainment.
Hellboy will be unleashed in theaters on April 12. The Right Hand of Doom is available for purchase now, but won’t ship until near the end of the calendar year.
