For those who somehow are sleeping, DurtE of Mission Infect (who won Faygoluvers.net 2017 Underground Album of the Year) is also a solo artist that’s from south central Pennsylvania. With a varying background in musical tastes anywhere from Tom Petty to Jelly Roll, DurtE has a very refreshing musical pallet. He incorporates rock, blues, country and hip hop in his music. He has toured nationally and has opened up for countless acts crossing different genres. From Hinder to Hopsin, Non Point to Tech N9ne, and even slayed the Carousel Stage with Underground Propaganda Squad during 2016’s Gathering of the Juggalos! DurtE has brought his energetic one man show to the forefront every time he has been on stage, especially during his own Pennsylvania based music festival UPStival and Razakel’s very own “Night of the Shrunken Heads” festival. We here at Faygoluvers.net are proud to say DurtE is currently super hard at work preparing to release his next underground hit “Broken Strings & Beat Machines” and its slated to be released July of this year. What’s even more fresh is the fact DurtE just dropped the anticipated albums first single “Goin Nowhere”.

“This project is definitely more grown up. I don’t speak so much on the struggle of trying to succeed as am emcee, but more of shit we go through in life in general, good and bad. I took the element of trying to write a hit around a concept and big feature out of this project all together, and am just doing what I feel. I think there are a lot of people out there from a lot of different walks of like that are going to be able to relate to this project. I also think that I am making it diverse enough that there will be at least 1 track on here for almost everyone.”
