The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 2 Episode 6 Recap
In the previous episode of Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Abe found out that Midge did stand-up, and Midge and Benjamin got to know each other on a date in the city. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 2 episode 6 began with Abe driving Midge and Susie back from the Concord.
Swift-Tuttle
Midge and Joel seemed to be coming to terms with their separation, though they were still allies. Midge saved Joel from the Feinbergs, who were talking his ear off at the soda shop, and she told him that Abe found out.
There would be a meteor shower viewing as the Swift-Tuttle comet flew overhead. A woman reading a magazine invited Joel. Benjamin, and Midge shared a blanket to watch the meteor shower. At the end-of-summer Steiner Resort employee show, Benjamin asked Midge for her number, and Joel and Midge had one final dance for the summer.

Abe couldn’t speak to Midge that night. The next day, he made Midge promise to not tell Rose she was a comic until he decided she could. Susie booked her another gig, and Midge and Abe silently acknowledged her leaving.
He got a phone call that Bell Labs would fund his artificial intelligence research. Abe had a meeting in the city and brought Noah with him. He had talked up Noah to all his colleagues in hopes that Bell Labs would hire him. However, his boss, Charles, ushered them into a secure room, and several security and government people joined them. They informed Abe that Noah was involved in a highly-classified project for the US government.
Rose took advantage of Astrid’s weak state from fasting to get information about Noah. He worked for the CIA. With Abe discovering Midge’s secret, he felt betrayed because both of his children were keeping secrets from him.
Around the World in 80 Minutes
Susie had spent the night at Midge’s cabin after Abe brought them back from the Concord. When she arrived back at the employee cabins, there had been search parties looking for her. The Steiner employees had embraced her as one of her own. To Midge’s surprise, Susie even had a part in the end-of-summer employee show.
