South Park Season 22 Episode 7 Recap

In the previous episode of South Park, the kids sought out the help of both Al Gore and Satan to combat the notorious ManBearPig. Sadly, the children were arrested for spreading these outrageous lies. What does this next installment have in store? Let’s find out as we recap South Park season 22 episode 7 ‘Nobody Got Cereal?’

Doin’ Time

South Park Season 22 Episode 7

ManBearPig continued his murderous rampage through downtown South Park by destroying a jewelry store. The kids attempted to negotiate their way out of jail, but the police refused to believe the children about ManBearPig. Cartman decided that the kids had to break out of jail to go and combat ManBearPig. Meanwhile at the community center, the town held a conference to decide when they needed to begin to worry about their situation. Satan barged in and caused most of the people to become very worried. Stan returned to his house and tried to convince Randy to help him, but Randy was busy playing a video game. Stan learned that his grandfather had been talking about ManBearPig for most of his life and he decided to go and visit his grandfather at the retirement home.

A Meeting In The Woods

South Park Season 22 Episode 7

Kyle returned to his house and was confronted by Al Gore, who implored him to continue his fight against ManBearPig. The police chief was called to the jewelry store and continued to insist that the murders were still being perpetrated by school shooters. Stan went to the nursing home and confronted the elderly people about ManBearPig. His grandfather insisted that his generation had done nothing wrong in causing ManBearPig to wreak havoc upon future generations. Cartman, Kyle, Kenny, and Satan went to the woods to meet with Al Gore to try and come up with a plan to combat ManBearPig. Satan told the other children about the pact that was made with ManBearPig. Satan also revealed that no mortal could harm ManBearPig, so Satan decided to help the kids and fight ManBearPig himself.

The Past Causes The Present

South Park Season 22 Episode 7

Stan’s grandfather revealed, through a conversation involving absurd revelations about his sexual habits in his younger years, the troubling truth behind his agreement with ManBearPig. Stan’s grandfather laid bare the fact that no members of his generation cared about the effects of their actions on future generations (basically spelling out the ongoing climate change metaphor). In the downtown block of South Park, Satan and ManBearPig had a fearsome battle, that ManBearPig soundly won and Satan died. With his dying breath, Satan urged the children to continue the battle against ManBearPig. On a public access show, the panel urged the citizens of South Park to consider worrying about ManBearPig. The kids went and hid in school in order to avoid the police. Stan informed everyone of the agreement with ManBearPig and he set out to put an end to it. Stan and ManBearPig went and had a consultation with a lawyer and began to renegotiate the town’s deal with ManBearPig.
