The holiday season is almost here and that means RuneScape, the world’s largest free MMORPG, will have a lot of festivities for users. Winter Weekends is happening now with temporary buffs and skill perks available for your adventures.
The Winter Weekends event takes place every weekend from Friday to Monday until January 7th. Content and rewards include Slayer skill 25% experience increase, Thieving skill loot increase chance, and higher farming yields (varies for the weekend).

- November 30th to December 3rd: Elite Dungeons & Dungeoneering
- December 7th to December 10th: Deep Sea Fishing & Fishing
- December 14th to December 17th: Combat & Slayer
- December 21st to December 24th: Gathering & Support Skills
- December 28th to December 31st: Minigames
- January 4th to January 7th: Player-Owned Farms & Farming
In addition, the Violet is Blue season quest will be launching on December 17th. It’s a cute event where players will embark on a journey of making a dream come true for a little girl by having her attend the annual yeti festival.
