Chris Evans continues to stack his post-Avengers career schedule, signing on to star in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, according to Deadline. The actor, who recently bid adieu to Captain America, is set to join Daniel Craig in the “red-hot murder mystery,” which has apparently received a lot of buzz on account of MRC’s big money deal for it out of Toronto.

Johnson wrote the script to the film, which has yet to release any kind of synopsis, but is described as a modern-day murder mystery in the classic whodunit style, infused with Johnson’s original voice that informed films from Brick to Looper. Craig committed to star in November after Danny Boyle suddenly left the Bond 25 project, and Johnson wrote the script and will be producing alongside partner Ram Bergman. Johnson has been a huge Agatha Christie fan for years, and for over a decade has been plotting his own murder mystery.

Johnson will make Knives Out before he directs a new trilogy in the Star Wars universe.

Evans has signed on for several high-profile gigs, including Neill Blomkamp’s Greenland, The Devil All the Time, alongside Avengers co-star Tom Holland, and Defending Jacob, which he will also executive produce for Apple.
