Rage 2 announcement video reveals a colorful post-apocalypse
Following a string of teases over the past few days, Bethesda Softworks has revealed the announcement trailer for Rage 2, which you can check out in the player below and check back here tomorrow for the actual gameplay trailer for the game!
The first Rage was released in 2011 to mediocre reviews, but since the release of the game, Bethesda has reinvented many of their classic titles like Doom and Wolfenstein, so the developer appears to have taken the base idea for Rage and made some modifications.
In the original Rage, players found themselves in the not-too-distant future after an asteroid impacts Earth, leaving a ravaged world behind. You emerge into this vast wasteland to discover humanity working to rebuild itself against such forces as bandit gangs, mutants, and the Authority – an oppressive government regime that has a special interest in you in particular.
