Bandai Namco officially says Soulcalibur VI is not in development for Switch, but the possibility is there for the future

GC: Is there any chance of a Switch version, so we can have Link again?

MO: SoulCalibur VI development started more than three years ago. And nobody knew anything about Switch back then. So, as a matter of fact we are not working on Switch, as of now. But of course, personally, I’m interested in the platform. So if the Unreal Engine can adapt to Switch, and evolve itself, then maybe the possibility will be more.

Certainly seems like a fair response to me. If the game has been in the works for 3 years, it's kind of hard to cram together a Switch version in less than a year. Perhaps we'll see something happen in a year or so from now. I'll certainly have my fingers crossed.
