Kara & Alex escape down memory lane in new Supergirl promo
Following last night’s new episode of the series, The CW has released the first promo for next week’s episode of Supergirl which you can check out in the player below! In addition, the first promo for the four-part crossover event Crisis on Earth-X has arrived online as well and you can watch it underneath.
Titled “Midvale,” the episode is set to air Monday, November 13 and flashes back to when Kara and Alex were kids living in their hometown. It’s officially described as follows:
“Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Alex (Chyler Leigh) head home to Midvale for a little R&R. While there, Kara recalls a painful memory of a childhood friend’s death and how that traumatic experience brought the Danver sisters closer together.”
Rob Greenlea directed the episode which was written by Caitlin Parrish and Jess Kardos. Izabela Vidovic plays Young Kara and Olivia Nikkanen plays Young Alex in flashbacks.
Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers/Supergirl, Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow ‘Winn’ Schott, Chris Wood as Mon-El, Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Odette Annable as Sam/Reign, and David Harewood as Hank Henshaw/J’onn J’onnz.
Based on the DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Sarah Schechter, Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller. Supergirl is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
