Sonic the Hedgehog gets the Funko Pop! vinyl treatment

Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic, he can really move. Sonic, he’s got an attitude! Sonic, he’s the fastest thing alive! Yeah, the theme song to Sonic the Hedgehog Saturday morning cartoon pops up in every time I think about the blue critter. Now if you’re into collecting Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are a Sonic fan, then you’re in luck. He and the gang will be getting the Pop! Games treatment.

Sonic the Hedgehog

There will be two different versions of Sonic Pop! figures, with one holding an emerald and another holding a gold ring.

GameStop has the exclusive Super Sonic figure.

There’s also the glow-in-the-dark version of Sonic holding the gold ring as a Toys “R” Us exclusive. (An image isn’t available for this one yet.)

Shadow

Here’s Sonic’s rival, Shadow.

Hot Topic exclusively has the Shadow with Chao.

Dr. Eggman

What’s a blue hedgehog without an evil scientist as the ultimate enemy? Dr. Eggman is here to try to take over the world.

The Sonic the Hedgehog Pop! line is coming in December.

2017 is a good year for Sonic fans since Sonic Mania, the new side-scrolling platformer, was released in August. Sonic Forces will be available in November and will combine third-person platforming with 2D side-scrolling platforming.

And with that, I’ll leave you with the Sonic the Hedgehog theme song.
