Dead Ant: monsters vs. metal in this delirious horror comedy
Okay, where has THIS movie been all of my life? Imagine the classic monster movie Them! by way of Spinal Tap and you get Dead Ant, a madcap heavy metal horror movie that looks freaking great! We are pleased to share the Official Trailer from the horror comedy that will be having its World Premiere at Screamfest 2017, taking place from October 10 – 19, 2017 at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood.
Dead Ant was written and directed by Ron Carlson (All American Christmas Carol) and stars Tom Arnold (“Sons of Anarchy,” True Lies), Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings Trilogy, “Stranger Things”), Jake Busey (The Predator, “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series”), Rhys Coiro (“Texas Rising,” “Entourage”), Leisha Hailey (“The L Word,” “Bosch”), Cameron Richardson (Get a Job, Alvin and the Chipmunks), and Danny Woodbury (“Bones,” Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).
Synopsis: When the “one-hit-wonder” glam-metal band “Sonic Grave” embark on a trip to Coachella in hopes of a comeback, their peyote trip pit stop in Joshua Tree incites an “unworldly” viscous attack, and they must “rock” themselves out of harms way.
