May 23, 2017: Here’s what’s hitting Blu-ray, Digital HD and DVD this week
The boogeyman is back today as John Wick: Chapter 2 makes its debut this week on Digital HD. To celebrate John Wick’s return, we’ve got an exclusive look behind the scenes at the hit action sequel. Check it out in the player below!

Also hitting Blu-ray and DVD this week are recent big screen releases like Jordan Peel’s impressive directorial debut, Get Out. There’s also Logan, the James Mangold-helmed final chapter for Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, and The Great Wall, the fantasy actioner starring Matt Damon.
A trio of animated films hit Blu-ray and DVD this week, including the Academy Award-nominated My Life as a Zucchini, the canine musical Rock Dog, and the animated DC Comics adaptation Vixen.
With this year’s Cannes Film Festival in full swing, The Criterion Collection brings to Blu-ray and DVD this week the 2015 Palme d’or winner, Jacques Audiard’s Dheepan.
There are also some interesting horror titles hitting Blu-ray and DVD, beginning with The Film Detective’s restoration of the 1974 thriller Voodoo Black Exorcist. Then, Shout! Factory returns to 1992’s The Vagrant, starring Bill Paxton as a man slowly driven mad by a homeless man who has been squatting in his newly-acquired home. Finally, Magnet delivers XX, a horror anthology that features four stories from female directors Roxanne Benjamin, Karyn Kusama, St. Vincent and Jovanka Vuckovic.
Hitting the small screen on DVD only this week is the second season of Outsiders and the complete Power Rangers: Mystic Force.
Also hitting Digital HD this week is A United Kingdom, director Amma Asante’s recent historical biopic starring David Oyelowo and Rosamund Pike, and a new 75th Anniversary version of Disney’s Bambi.
