If you are a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge owner, then you have probably been waiting for Android’s newest update, Nouget, to reach your devices. Well, wait no more, because Samsung has announced an official(ish) release date for the update.
A day after rumors were leaked that Samsung had finished its beta test of the OS, in a notice to those who were part of the testing, Samsung confirmed that the beta test would end at midnight on December 30th. The company ends the notice by assuring users that “we will do our best to distribute the official version in January as soon as possible.” So, at least we now know the time frame for the operating system release, even if it is in a range of 31 days.
