To promote the latest update for the Star Wars Force Collection mobile card game app featuring characters from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Konami brought in professional cardstacker Bryan Berg to build a replica of the Rebel Base from the movie at the Playa Vista Cinemark theaters.
Bryan Berg would spend the next few days creating one of the coolest house of cards from top to bottom, where anyone could watch the magic happen one card at a time. On the final day, we had a chance to talk to Bryan not only about the world records he currently holds, but also the challenge of building such a large structure especially using specialty made cards for the build specifically.
Of course being the last day, it also meant the rebel base was getting taken down. Luckily I was given the opportunity to take down structure that featured over 100lb of cards with a leaf blower! Lets the fun begin!
