Dark Souls III: The Ringed City trailer looks terrifyingly good

The first trailer for the final DLC installment called The Ringed City for Dark Souls III has arrived, and damn does it scare the crap out of me. I’m not talking about horror scary, but more of insane-level-of-difficulty-make-you-want-to-gouge-your-eyes-out type of scary. In the trailer we see the infamous Darksign, which means we might be in Londor for this finale. You can also see a massive city, built mountainside but broken to no ends. Not to mention all sorts of monsters and enemies scouring the land.

There’s a good glimpse at some of the bosses you’ll be facing off with at some point as well. Overall, it seems that The Ringed City will pickup whatever shortcomings the previous DLC Ashes of Ariandel had. To me, that was most notably the lack of boss battles, as there were only two. Obviously, the larger of the two was a three-part-battle, but it still felt like there should have been more. Along with new foes, we’ll also get a bunch of new weapons and gear to use in battle.

The Ringed City will release on March 28th for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC. So you’ve got a bit of time to collect as many souls as you can in preparation. Are you excited to play the new DLC for Dark Souls III? Let us know in the comments below.
