Amiibo support in Nintendo’s most popular games is commonplace nowadays, and Nintendo just detailed how they will come into play in the release of their next flagship game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Since the new amiibo released today, Nintendo’s official Tumblr page released the exact details into how each of the new amiibo will help our hero on his next adventure.
Activating 8-bit link will reward you with a random number of Barrels. Some may even have Rupees.
Activating Ocarina of Time Link will reward you with a random amount of meat.
Activating Toon Link will reward you with a random amount of fish.
Activating Wind Waker Zelda will reward you with a random selection of plants.
Supplies being magically air dropped from the sky is just one of the many new things we will see in Breath of the Wild. Also remember that there are still 3 more amiibo that are being created for Breath of the Wild, so who knows what else will fall from the sky when we activate those in the coming year.
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is scheduled to release in 2017 for both the Wii U and Nintendo Switch.
