Although each season of American Horror Story is all about being independent from each other, Ryan Murphy recently announced that one of their seasons is going to be a Murder House x Coven crossover at Entertainment Weekly’s Popfest this past weekend.
“We do know what we’re going to do. It’s not going to be next season, but we are going to do a season that’s a crossover between Murder House and Coven together, which is very bizarre. There will be characters from Murder House and characters from Coven together. I’ve [already] started going to actors from both of the seasons, quietly, saying, ‘I think in this window, if you could fit us in.’ So yeah, it’s fun. It’s weird.”
Although he mentioned that this won’t be season seven, and possibly not even season eight, but at one point it will happen. I don’t know how I feel about it, because I love the fact that each season has its own storylines – even if there are hints of each other in each one!
