Are you ready to travel back to World War 1? EA will be releasing the Battlefield 1 Open Beta on August 31st in anticipation for the game’s launch in two months.
What can players expect to experience in the open beta? There’s the new Sinai Desert map where they can ride on horses and travel across a huge desert area and through narrow streets and alleys to kill the enemy. Players can also control tanks and pilot fighter planes. The Armored Train Behemoth will spawn to give a side a boost when the stronger team is dominating. The train contains different types of weapons, and if used effectively, it can turn the tide of the battle.
The map will have two modes in Open Beta. The first is the classic Conquest mode that includes up to 64 players in an all-out battle. Then there’s Rush mode with up to 24 players where the Attacking force must locate and take out the Defending force’s Telegraph Posts.
Battlefield 1 will be available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 21, 2016.
