Richter dropped a public statement explaining that he made the decision to step away to unclog his soul, explicitly stating he was sick of all the drama and negativity. He noted he'll be focusing on a new solo project moving forward. But if fans were hoping for an amicable split, that dream died immediately.
Remaining members D-Loc and Daddy X quickly took to Twitter to unleash on their former Kingspade brother. D-Loc pulled zero punches, stating that real friends stay true when times are tough, and publicly labeling Richter as a thief and a liar. Daddy X followed up with his own heavy accusations, stating he refuses to let negative people lacking integrity bring him down, and called out quitters being exploited by bottom feeders.
This isn't just a lineup change; this is a devastating civil war. For the first time since 1999, the Kottonmouth Kings are moving forward without Richter's iconic voice on the tracks. The Kingspade dynamic is effectively dead, lines have been drawn in the sand, and the SubNoize family tree is burning to the ground.
