Many fans were hopeful when Ben Affleck was attached to direct The Batman. The actor/director has since decided to step down as director since he figured being Batman and the director would hinder the project. Now we have a report from Batman-News.com that the script is ready, and that Warner Bros. and Ben Affleck are “very happy” about it. How promising. Affleck has been very vocal about finding the right script before proceeding with the film. It’s a sign that the actor and Warner Bros. are taking extra care with this DC project.
