Ever wonder what it would be like to be a Power Ranger? Thanks to Chroma Squad, you will soon have your chance.
5 stunt actors have decided to quit their jobs, come together and run their own Power Rangers-inspired TV show. The game is equal parts simulator and tactical RPG. You will be responsible for hiring the actors, upgrading gear, marketing your show, and crafting costumes and set pieces. Once the camera is rolling, it’s time to battle in classic tactical turn-based combat, just like the source material. Your rangers will be able to team up to pull off special combo maneuvers. As you progress you will gain access to giant mechas, and be able to improve your characters with skill trees, randomly dropped equipment, crafting, and a branching storyline that has 3 separate endings.
Chroma Squad features some amazing chiptune songs that truly capture the essence of what it would be like to live in the world of Power Rangers. So get out there and build, destroy, and save the city.
Chroma Squad is scheduled for an early 2017 release for PS4, PS Vita, Steam, Xbox One, iOS, and Android.
