Across the United States, and even in several different countries, there have been numerous sightings of individuals dressed as clowns. You don’t have to look very hard to find images or footage of creepy “clown sightings.” There have been reports of clowns chasing people with weapons, causing damage to property, and even entering people’s homes!
Well one small business may have a solution to dealing with this clown epidemic; Cumbria Superheroes has decided to step in after hearing that some children are so traumatized that they are having trouble sleeping at night.
White Haven, a small town on the coast of Cumbria, has received multiple reports of a man dressed as the Dark Knight, patrolling the streets and chasing away anyone dressed as a clown. According to BBC Cumbria, the idea supposedly came after this hooded hero heard “that many children had been left traumatized by the clowns lurking around the town.”

There haven’t been any reports of who the man is; however, responses from the public seem very positive. Adults are happy that there is someone out there attempting to protect the children. Cumbria Superheroes is reassuring the public that this man is not a vigilante, just a concerned citizen trying to do his part for the safety of the children.
