Tokyo 42, an open world game where you play as a bounty hunter

Fans of Syndicate and Grand Theft Auto 1 may find some interest in Tokyo 42, a top-down, open world game where you play as a bounty hunter in future Tokyo.

The official trailer came out today showcasing the game’s brutal yet colorful, nature. Players can cause some fatal mayhem in the streets with their weapons or vehicles. Looks like some law enforcement mechs will be coming at you if you cause too much of it, however. Of course, there is also the world itself with its rich colors and sprawling environment to explore in a top-down perspective. Think of it like Hotline Miami if it was open world and displayed at an angle.

Tokyo 42 will be released in 2017 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
