Unless you have been living under a rock for the past few months, the world has been taken by storm at the hands of Niantic’s newest geolocation based game, Pokemon Go. If you are playing this game then you are no stranger to the toll that catching the plethora of Pidgeys and Ekans has on your phone’s battery. We may have found your solution.
This Poke Ball-shaped portable battery pack was found at a random Chinese booth at tech show IFA 2016. The one that was tested was a 12,000 mAh version which holds enough juice to charge an iPhone 6s about 6 times. The battery also includes an additional USB output port to allow the charging of two devices as well as a micro-USB for charging of the battery itself.
There is also a lanyard loop to attach to your keys or maybe even your belt loop to complete the Poke Trainer look. Unfortunately there is no word on how much this will cost or when it will be available. Let’s be honest though, if it is an un-licensed product from China, it will probably be inexpensive.
Will you be adding this to your Pokemon go arsenal? Keep the conversation going in the comments below.
