Nine years ago, Irrational Games and 2K games took us on a breathtaking, underwater journey through the city of Rapture and now they are re releasing the game with an HD sheen!
PC players will be able to upgrade their copy of the game for FREE if they already own the game.
If you already own the game on Steam, the remastered version will automatically appear in your game library as a seperate title, but if you have a physical copy you’ll have to go through a couple more steps.
To get BioShock remastered on Steam, you must provide your Steam profile information AND proof of purchase of the original PC game to 2K Support.
For BioShock 2, find the Games for Windows Live key that was with your digital or physical copy. Activate this key through Steam. Information and step-by-step instructions can be found at this link.
Once you have both games on your Steam account you will be ready for the release of the remaster on September 15, 2016.
