NetherRealms has released a trailer showing 2 members of the Suicide Squad joining the foray. Harley Quinn and Deadshot will be in the upcoming fighting game. Harley is not coming to the fight alone as she’s bringing her two favorite pet hyenas, Bud and Lou. Bud and Lou look to have gone with a different hairstyle from the last time I saw them on TV, but they still are dangerous as ever.
Harley also looks to be sporting three costumes in the upcoming game, not like the armored versions we’ve seen from everyone else. Her first costume is her more recent normal look of leather jacket and pants. Her second costume kind of has a Tomb Raider “look” to it with a gun holster and wearing sleeves with ammunition and short shorts. Her third and final costume is almost a mix of both, but instead of the sleeves we see her sporting her classic headgear. I hope they release a costume of her wearing her old school costume in the future.
Next up is Deadshot with the laser eye in the right spot, unlike the movie. (One of the few things that bothered me.) It looks like he will just have one costume in the game for now. Just like in the movie and the comics, his costume is mostly armored, and of course, he has his signature headgear.
No word on the release of the game but will be out next year.
