Violent J Speaks on John Kickjazz Documentary

Believe it or not, it’s been almost 3 years since Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, and Tre Lb put on the Carnival of Carnage show in southwest Detroit!  Being one of the few hundred that got to see it, I can easily say that it was one of the BEST shows I’ve ever witnessed!  (See my review right here.)  But that’s beside the point.

That show had a hefty price tag of $250.00, and with the exclusivity of that performance plus Dog Beats, I was more than happy to pay it.

It was advertised that proceeds from the show would go to put together a documentary for John Kickjazz, long lost 3rd member of the Insane Clown Posse.  Here’s a commercial for the show to jog your memory:

Now like I said, it’s been 3 years since that show, and while I know that documentaries take time to put together, edit, etc, a lot of ninjas have asked if it would ever see the light of day.

The homie John Clark asked Violent J about the documentary on Cameo!  J answered, and revealed another project that is seemingly in the works!  Check out this 3 minute response here:

To recap, J said the following:

  • John Kickjazz was alive during Behind The Paint but J purposely left things out about him because he was mad at him
    • He said he was wrong for this, and feels like the documentary would be the perfect way to tell Juggalos about his life.
  • J said that the documentary has been written and rewritten and pieced together
    • He said once it was laid out, the documentary just seemed very sad.
    • It was sad to the point where he thought viewers would wonder what the point of the documentary even was.
  • A multi-part documentary about the personal and professional lives of the Insane Clown Posse is being worked on
    • it’s a whole career retrospective
    • Will reveal lots of things about their personal lives
    • one of the pieces of the documentary will tell the entire John Kickjazz story.
  • He said that the only way to change the John Kickjazz story would be to lie, and that’s not something they wanted to do.

DAMN!  I don’t have a clue when we should expect any of this, but let’s hope that it comes to fruition!  Keep your fingers crossed ninjas!
