Force of Nature trailer: Mel Gibson fights off thieves in a hurricane

The official Force of Nature trailer for Lionsgate’s forthcoming disaster action film, featuring Mel Gibson and Emile Hirsch, as their characters must team up together to bring down a group of thieves while trapped inside an apartment complex in the midst of a Category 5 Hurricane. Force of Nature focuses on a retired detective named Ray when he refuses to leave his building despite the insistence of his daughter and a pair of cops who are trying to help evacuate everyone from the upcoming Category 5 Hurricane. However, things become more complicated as they will now have to face a group of thieves on a heist job for $55 million that is hidden within the building. The retired detective along with the cops and his daughter must protect the trapped residents of the building while braving the intense storm.

The film stars Mel Gibson (Mad Max, Lethal Weapon) as Ray, Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild, Speed Racer) as Cardillo, Kate Bosworth (Remember the Titans, Superman Returns) as Troy, and David Zayas (Dexter, Oz) as John. It will also feature Stephanie Cayo and Jasper Polish.

Force of Nature is directed by Michael Polish from a script written by Cory Miller. It is produced by Randall Emmett, George Furla and Luillo Ruiz alongside executive producers Tim Sullivan and Alex Eckert.
