This mailer came complete with the Star Wars: The Black Series 40th Anniversary 6-inch Figure Assortment, including beloved characters such as Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Yoda, and more. Directed by Irvin Kershner from a screenplay by Leigh Brackett, Lawrence Kasdan and George Lucas, The Empire Strikes back opened on May 21, 1980 and went on to gross $547.9 million (unadjusted) at the box office. It is widely regarded by many fans and filmmakers as the best Star Wars movie ever made.
