Nioh 2 launch trailer unveiled

Team Ninja has unveiled the official launch trailer for the upcoming second installment in their action-adventure role-playing game franchise Nioh 2, which is set to hit shelves from Sony Interactive Entertainment this Friday! The trailer can be viewed in the player below!

Acting as a prequel to its 2017 predecessor, Nioh 2 is set in 1500s Sengoku-era Japan and will pit players against a brutal blend of myth, legend and history of the iconic samurai region and will challenge them to master the arts of the sword as a mysterious half-human, half-supernatural Yokai warrior in the deadly Dark Realm plagues by grotesque, merciless demons.

The game will feature three major DLC packs later down the road, with each focusing on a different storyline in a prequel matter to the game’s story and promises hours of additional gameplay. Access to all three DLC packs are included with the Season Pass, which is included with the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition, and will also come with premium in-game items such as the Demon Horde armor and Kodama Netsuke Charm. The Special Edition of the game will include the main game, Season Pass, exclusive SteelBook case and “The Art of Nioh 2” booklet.

Nioh 2 is set to hit shelves on Friday, March 13 for the PlayStation 4!
