Cyberpunk 2077 will feature multiplayer gameplay options
The upcoming, and highly anticipated game, Cyberpunk 2077 will offer players some options after its expected launch in April next year.
In a post on Twitter, CD Projekt Red, the studio behind the game, teased that after the game’s set to launch, a multiplayer function will be added. They also clarified that they’re working on the multiplayer function now, and even encouraged people to apply to the company to help them meet their deadline.
2/2 The plan for now is to deliver Cyberpunk 2077 in April, then follow up with DLCs (free!) and single player content, and — once we’re done — invite you for some multiplayer action.

A follow-up tweet also clarified that the plan is to push out the single-player option, then some free(!) DLCs, then go straight into multiplayer from there.

Set in the fictional world of Night City, California in the year 2077, the world is broken, while MegaCorps manage every aspect of life from the top floors of their sky-scraping fortresses. Cyberpunk 2077 is set in the same universe as Mike Pondsmith’s classic pen & paper RPG system, Cyberpunk 2020. You can get your hands on a copy starting in April of next year.
