E3 2019: The Division 2 Roadmap and Free to Play Weekend June 13-16

The Division 2

The Division 2 is having a great run of new content and had a short portion during Ubisoft’s E3 2019 Press Conference to make some new announcements. The biggest announcement right now is that it’s all free (yes right now, but for a limited time). If you’ve been missing on any of the action since its release in March, then this might be the best time to jump in and see what you’ve been missing. Just simply download the game via PC, PS4 or Xbox One, and you’re good to go. One caveat is that for the Xbox One, you’ll still need Gold. For those who wish to continue their journey into The Division 2, it is also available at a reduced cost from each respective online store. All the progress you earn during free play weekend will carry on to the full game if you choose to buy it.

As for the rest of the Ubisoft E3 2019 Presentation, Division 2 Creative Director Terry Spier went over the rest of the Year 1 Roadmap. The first major episode release will be called Expeditions. Expeditions takes you away from the city and into the woodlands where you must focus on exploration. Episode 2 will be called The Pentagon, still within the confines of Washington D.C. The biggest announcement comes with Episode 3, which will take the player right back to where it all started in New York City.
