Vizio 2019 Spring Showcase: New TVs, sound bars and Smartcast 3.0

Vizio, Inc. has announced today the availability of its new 2019 4K HDR smart TVs and sound bars, and new features for SmartCast 3.0. The company has been working on bringing quality consumer electronics at competitive prices, and the new products will sure to please home theater enthusiasts and those looking to start.

The new 2019 4K HDR smart TV collection features Quantum Color, Vizio’s quantum dot technology for expansive color, and Active Full Array backlighting for wide contrast to give you deep blacks and bright whites. The flagship model is the P-Series Quantum X 4K HDR line that can do up to 3,000 nits (the higher the nits, the higher the brightness), and it’s the model that can do the largest color volume. It has up to 480 local dimming zones, which is twice as many as the previous P-Series model.

Vizio P-Series X

The quantum dot technology is also available for the 2019 M-Series Quantum 4K HDR Smart TVs, a first for the M-Series. It ranges from the 43- to 65-inch class size with 90 zones of local dimming, which is twice as many as the 2018 M-Series. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG formats, and it can do up to 600 nits of peak brightness.

And then there’s the V-Series 4K HDR Smart TV lineup, which reimagines the Vizio E-Series. It supports Dolby Vision and the class size ranges from 40 inches to 75 inches and features Active Full Array backlight with up to 12 zones of local dimming and 400 nits of peak brightness.

The new TVs will be available nationwide at Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, Sam’s Club, Target and Walmart starting from $259.99 MSRP for the 40-inch V-Series to $3,499 MSRP for the 75-inch P-Series Quantum X.

Vizio’s 2019 Sound Bar Collection

You can have beautiful picture quality with Vizio’s TV collection, but you’ll need to complement that with great audio. Vizio has announced the 2019 audio collection including the Vizio 36″ 5.1.4 and 36″ 3.1.2. Premium Home Theater Sound System with Dolby Atmos. The sound bar has a simplistic design, is easy to set up, features sound from different angles, and both models have upward-firing speakers. With Atmos, it takes audio to the next level by fully immersing you thanks to the object-based format.

The Vizio 36″ 5.1.4 ($699.99 MRSP) will be released in the summer through Amazon, and the 36″ 3.1.2 ($469.99 MSRP) will be available at Best Buy. Both models support Google Assistant, and they each have a wireless subwoofer. The 36″ 3.1.2 has a slim subwoofer that’s designed to be appealing aesthetically without sacrificing performance. Chromecast is built into the sound system, making it easy for users to stream music to the speakers. There’s also the 20″ 2.0 Sound Bar ($69.99 MSRP), which is ideal for smaller rooms.

Vizio SmartCast 3.0

Vizio SmartCast 3.0 allows users to watch movies and shows via their favorite apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Fandango Now. You can watch free movies and shows through WatchFree, which will have more channels to come. Take that, cable! You can also set up Smart TVs with Google Home or other devices that can handle Google Assistant to control volume, launch apps, change the playback of a program, select HDMI inputs, and more.
