Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 2 Recap

To close out our recaps of Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, we are recapping the major storylines of Season 2.

The Herald of Hell

After signing her name in the Book, Sabrina embraced her witch side this season. With Lilith’s guidance, Sabrina performed perversions of Jesus’s miracles. By doing so, she fulfilled a prophecy and became the Herald of Hell, who would usher in the apocalypse.

Satan arrived in his angelic form. He revealed to Sabrina the truth about her parents. Edward and Diana went to Satan when they had trouble conceiving a child. Satan was Sabrina’s father, and he wanted her to rule with him as his queen.

Sabrina and her friends tried to bind Satan with an incantation. Nick drew Satan into him, and they were able to bind Satan in him. Lilith, now Queen of Hell, took Nick and Satan with her.

Baxter High

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 2 Episode 3 Recap

While Sabrina spent most of her time at the Academy of Unseen Arts, her friends carried on at Baxter High. Theo transitioned and joined the basketball team. Harvey and Roz started dating with Sabrina’s blessing. Unfortunately, the curse on Roz’s family activated, and Roz went blind. In return, she received visions, called the cunning. With Sabrina returning to Baxter High and her friends, their first adventure back together would be getting Nick back from Hell.

The Church of Judas

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 2 Episode 7 Recap

Zelda wanted to turn her affair with Father Blackwood into a marriage for power. Unfortunately, Blackwood had other plans. He killed the Anti-Pope and assumed power of the Church of Night. He declared the Church of Night to be the Church of Judas. He put a spell on Zelda to keep her subjugated and under his control.

Blackwood framed Ambrose for killing the Anti-Pope. Satan stopped Ambrose’s execution and condemned Blackwood. He was no longer interim Anti-Pope, and Blackwood left town.
