Ask Dr. Ruth: Hulu debuts trailer for new Documentary feature
Hulu has released the official trailer for their upcoming documentary Ask Dr. Ruth which centers around the life of well-known sex therapist Ruth Westheimer, who became an iconic pop culture figure of the late-night television during the ’80s and ’90s. The film will have its world premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. Check out the video below!

Ask Dr. Ruth chronicles the incredible life of Dr. Ruth Westheimer, a Holocaust survivor who became America’s most famous sex therapist. With her diminutive frame, thick German accent, and uninhibited approach to sex therapy and education, Dr. Ruth transformed the conversation around sexuality. As she approaches her 90th birthday and shows no signs of slowing down, Dr. Ruth revisits her painful past and unlikely path to a career at the forefront of the sexual revolution
The docu film was helm by Ryan White with Rafael Marmor, Christopher Leggett and Jessica Hargave serving as producers. It is executive produced by Peggy Drexler. Hulu has successfully acquired the rights to the film last November 2018. They will be teaming up with Magnolia Pictures to give the film a theatrical release.
