American Horror Story: Apocalypse Episode 7 Recap
In the previous episode of American Horror Story: Apocalypse, Madison and Chablis returned to the Murder House and learned from it’s residents that Michael Langdon is the true son of Satan. What does this next installment have in store? Let’s find out as we recap American Horror Story: Apocalypse episode 7 ‘Traitor!’
Voodoo Queen
Dinah was offering her services as a voodoo priestess to paying customers. She went to one of her wealthy client’s homes and finished off her services for the woman. Dinah was approached by Cordelia, who asked for her help in securing a meeting with the Voodoo Devil. Dinah agreed to do it for a payment of $100,000. Madison arrived on the set of a Christmas themed horror film that Bubbles, a witch who abandoned the coven, was filming her newest movie on. Madison told Bubbles that she had been summoned to assist the coven with a major problem. Bubbles showed off her power, reading the deepest desire of the soul, to Madison. Madison and Myrtle attempted to explain to Bubbles the danger that Michael posed. Bubbles did not believe them.
Seance Time
Dinah and Cordelia conducted a seance in order to communicate with Papa Legba, the Devil of Voodoo. Papa arrived in a resplendent top hat and asked if Dinah had reconsidered his offer from earlier, but Dinah still refused it. Cordelia spoke with Papa about Michael and Papa revealed that he knew that Michael was the Anti-Christ. Cordelia offered that Papa open the gates of the underworld and Michael would be trapped in the underworld for all of eternity. Papa agreed to help Cordelia if she gave him the souls of all of the witches of the coven, but Cordelia refused to agree to this.
Supreme Confusion
Back at the witch’s academy, Coco revealed to Mallory and Queeny that she had developed a new power, to be able to identify the number of calories in any item of food. Coco decided to try some of the food and choked on it. Mallory then unveiled that she had the power to cut open human flesh much like a zipper and used it to save Coco’s life. Zoe reached out to Cordelia and told her that she believed Mallory was actually the next Supreme, not Michael. At the warlock academy, Bubbles and Myrtle had dinner with the warlock council. Bubbles used her powers and learned that the warlocks wanted to kill all of the witches.
Roughly a year prior to these events, Cordelia performed a blood ritual in order to resurrect Myrtle (who had died during the events of Coven). Back in the main timeline of this episode, Cordelia lead a group of witches on an assault on the warlock academy. They found the ashes of John Henry and Mallory managed to revive him, and in doing so passed her test of the Seven Wonders and was named the new Supreme. Cordelia had Arial, Wade, and Michael’s mother executed.
