AMC has released a new promo and sneak peek for the seventh episode of their new dramedy series Lodge 49, which airs Mondays after Better Call Saul. You can check out both clips in the post below!
Lodge 49 follows Dud (Wyatt Russell), a man who suffered an incident which made it impossible to enjoy his favorite pastime. Dud drifted among life before finding a fraternal lodge. One that offers both cheap beer and philosophies.
The episode 7 preview, titled “The Solemn Duty of the Squire” finds Dud and his co-worker driving a golf cart around a course set up in the floor of a warehouse where he now works as a security card. As he traverses the obstacles, which include old printers being catapulted at him while he drives, he ends up setting a new record. Afterward, while he and his co-workers relax with a few bong hits, Dud starts asking about the sub-basement he discovered there earlier, which leads to an interesting conversation about conspiracy theories over what the basement could truly hold.
In the second clip, Dud tries his best to fulfill his duties as squire to Ernie (Brent Jennings), who’s not exactly impressed with Dud’s abilities.
Will Dud find the sub-basement he’s looking for? Will he be able to convince Ernie that he’s worthy of being his squire? We won’t find out until the next episode of Lodge 49 airs this Monday.
