With Halloween creeping up around the corner, Universal Pictures has released the second trailer for the upcoming ‘Halloween’ movie which will hit theaters on October 19th. Halloween will take place 40 years after the original film, which will serve as the direct sequel to John Carpenter’s 1978 slasher flick.
‘Halloween’ will see Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her role as Laurie Strode, who’s spent the last four decades preparing for the inevitable return of Michael Myers. After spending the last 40 years in a mental institution, Michael Myers has managed to escape and he’s coming back to Haddonfield to finish what he started.
The new trailer shows us more of the brutality that Michael Myers is known for. The opening scene of the trailer shows Michael grabbing a hammer before he uses it on his next victim. What follows next is him grabbing the icon kitchen knife that becomes his preferred weapon of choice. The trailer this time around focuses more on the ultimate showdown between an unrelenting killer and a victim turned heroine.
